1. Contract & Services

By placing an order on certanly.co.uk or by phone, you enter into a binding service agreement with Certanly Ltd (Company Registration in England & Wales). Certanly undertakes to supply qualified, accredited engineers (Gas Safe, NICEIC, Elmhurst, BAFE) to inspect designated property safety items according to statutory British Standards.

2. Pricing & Surcharges

• Transparent Inclusions: All prices quoted include statutory VAT. We do not charge separate call-out fees.
• Multi-Service Discount: When two or more services are booked for the same property visit, a 15% combined visit discount applies automatically to the services subtotal.
• Congestion Zone: A £20 fee applies once per visit for properties located within the Transport for London Congestion Charge zone.
• Parking: Where free parking (on-drive or non-permit street) is not available, a £5 parking surcharge applies per visit.

3. Access & Missed Visits

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure access is provided at the confirmed appointment window (via tenant, client present, key safe code, or agent key collection).

Our engineer will send a 30-minute arrival SMS notice and attempt to phone all contact numbers provided upon arrival. If access cannot be gained within 20 minutes of the engineer arriving on site, a standard £30 missed-visit fee will apply to cover engineer travel and lost dispatch time.

4. Free Rescheduling & Cancellations

Bookings may be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled inspection window. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may incur a £30 administration charge.

5. Certificate Delivery & Remedial Quotes

Digital PDF certificates are issued within 24 hours of inspection completion (same-day for passed Gas CP12s). Where a defect or safety non-compliance is identified (e.g. electrical C2 hazard or gas danger), the engineer will explain the issue in plain English and provide a transparent remedial quote. Minor repairs can frequently be completed on site during the same visit upon client approval.

6. Limitation of Liability

Certanly Ltd maintains comprehensive £5,000,000 Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
